Our Build Philosophy:
Precision Meets Soul
We don’t believe in "magic voodoo" or vintage tech just for the sake of it. We believe in building gear that sounds incredible, operates silently, and survives the rigors of the road. At Riff Pedal Co., we combine modern manufacturing with old-school craftsmanship.
Precision Engineering
The "brains" of our pedals are built using high-spec, precision-fabricated circuit boards. By utilizing modern surface-mount technology for the core circuitry, we achieve a significantly lower noise floor and rock-solid consistency. This means the pedal you get sounds exactly like the one we designed—no "duds," no hiss, just pure tone.
Hand-Finished in Melbourne
While we use technology for precision, we use our hands for the "muscle." Every Riff Pedal Co. pedal is hand-finished and assembled right here in Melbourne, Australia.
We hand-solder the components that take the most abuse—the jacks, the pots, and the footswitches. By manually wiring these high-stress points, we ensure every "load-bearing" joint is over-engineered to handle a lifetime of stomping.
Tested by Ear
A circuit board doesn’t know what "vibe" is, but we do. Every single unit we build is plugged in and tested with a guitar and a bass before it goes into the box. We don't just check for signal; we check for the inspiration. If a pedal doesn’t make us want to keep playing, it doesn’t leave the workshop.
